For this Taiwan’s Centennial celebration a division has been created for local and overseas professionals “Short Board Cash Challenge “for those who can handle the heat of real competitive surfing. Once again this year our favorite judges from the Japanese Association of Surfing Professionals < JASP> will ensure fair and open scoring for all.

The three day festival will include the popular “ Welcome Dinner” at Ali Seafood on the evening of the 8 th and the wild “ Grand Party” at the dive center car park opposite Alang Surf shop in Kenting main street. Entry to these evening events is complimentary for competitors and also open to family and friends if an extra Family tickets offer is paid up.

Prizes this year will include a unique trophy for the first three winners in each division, entrants tee sheet and the usual sponsors giveaways. For the “Short Board Cash Challenge” a first prize of NT $ 50,000.00 with NT$ 30,000.00 and NT$ 20,000.00 cash awards for second and third places.
